Restoring Honor Rally in D.C.

My son Taylor and I went to Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor Rally" this weekend. We flew into Philadelphia and my wonderful cousin Danny took us to D.C.. It was a lot of fun and very inspiring. Glenn's main message at the rally was that our country has forgotten God and that we need to turn back to Him. That it takes all of us to do our part. That one person can make a huge difference in the world. He also focused on the 3 values of Faith, Hope, and Charity. There were SO many people there. News estimates are saying around 500,000 attended. Many families came from across the nation. If you are interested in seeing the rally C-Span recorded it. I had never been to D.C. before. We rode the subway for the first time. We saw the Lincoln Memorial, The Washington Monument, The White House and few others sites. I wish we could have seen more but we ran out of time and I was so exhausted from all the walking we did. I was happy that we got to spend a little time with my cousin Danny and his family and I really appreciate their hospitality. Thanks Danny! I wouldn't have been able to go without your help. You're the Best!!

Its always amazing to travel and see places that you read about it books and see pictures and think yeah that's the White House in a book and then when your actually there your like "hey, that really is the Capital Building or the White House" the best education ever is travel and being a part of it all. I'm so happy for you that you got to go and venture out how exciting was that for both of you.
